TERMS & CONDITIONS

At ARTLETTE, we are committed to provide our Students the most enjoyable and enriching learning experience. Please find below our Terms & Conditions, which are designed to ensure fairness, clarity, and transparency in our policies.

Upon enrolment into ARTLETTE program, the Student/Parent/Guardian hereby agrees to and accepts the Terms and Conditions stated:​

​1.0            FEES AND PAYMENT


Timely payment of school fees is crucial to the smooth running of our school. It ensures that our staffs are focused on serving your needs and teaching, rather than on collection of fees. 


All fees are subject to review and revision. All fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.


1.1            The registration of the Student in weekly program will only be confirmed upon:

a. Payment of registration and materials fee for all new sign up;

b. Advance payment of program fee for all registered class(es) by the last day of the payment period indicated by ARTLETTE;

c. In the event that the relevant fees are not fully paid by the last day of the payment period, ARTLETTE reserves the right to release the slot to another Student and/or disallow the Student from attending any class(es) until due payment is made.

1.2            The enrolment of the Student in weekly program will only be renewed upon:

a. Advance payment of program fee and materials fee (when applicable) for all registered class(es) by the last day of the payment period indicated by ARTLETTE;

b. In the event that the relevant fees are not fully paid by the last day of the payment period, ARTLETTE reserves the right to release the slot to another Student and/or disallow the Student from attending any class(es) until due payment is made. Students who are late for payment will be considered as re-joiners and materials fee will be applicable (see point 8).

c. Reservation is not allowed without payment and is on first come first serve basis.

d. Students will be admitted to program according to their corresponding age group. However, in special circumstances, ARTLETTE reserves the right to admit Students to a different program (higher or lower) depending on the Student’s abilities and interests.


1.3            Materials fee


a. Materials fee includes all art supplies and stationery used in studio.

b. For kids program, Student is required to replenish their oil pastels and acrylic paints. Additional materials fee is needed when Student is promoted to Hobbyists or Portfolio Management program to access different sets of art supplies.

2.0            PAYMENT MODES

The payment mode are NETS, Internet banking and Paynow transfer.

For Internet banking and Paynow transfer, please indicate Student's name in the remarks and email the full transaction details. A confirmation receipt will be sent upon receiving the payment.​

3.0            TRIAL CLASS POLICY

Trial class is applicable for new Students only.

If Student sign up the program after the trial class, the registration and materials fees are still applicable. The trial class cannot be used to offset the sessions for the program.

Trial class has an expiry of one month. Change in timing is subject to availability.

  

4.0            PROGRAM STRUCTURE AND MAKE UP CLASS

Each weekly program has an expiry date. All sessions must be used before expiry and unused sessions will be forfeited.

Each Student is eligible for a make-up class by providing notice of withdrawal at least 3 hours before the scheduled class. Otherwise, the session will be automatically consumed.

Student who miss a class are encouraged to schedule a make-up class so that his/her progress will be uninterrupted. Make up classes are available for booking 15 hours prior to the commencement of the classes and are subjected to availability.

For Flexi program shared with siblings, one student has to attend the classes on a weekly basis.

ARTLETTE reserves the rights to cancel class(es) by giving notice to Students, the session credit will be returned to the Students for make-up class(es) booking.

5.0            LESSON CONDUCT​

ARTLETTE teaches Students to gain a strong foundation in artistic development through a focus on the learning process. Each lesson is designed with specific learning objectives encompassing both the application and techniques aspects. The number of artworks completed depends on the Student's ability and complexity of artwork. Kindly note that it takes time to learn, success through practice and exploration to develop their creativity.

The official Student feedback is 2-3 months. Should you require more frequent updates, please feel free to approach the teachers.

Students are advised to attend classes regularly and punctually. Classes will still end on time for Students who arrive late as preparation is needed for the next class.

In the event that the Student is visibly ill, our staff and/or teachers have the discretion to request the Student to be sent home. This is done to ensure the Student receives proper care and medical attention, and to protect the health and safety of other students and staff in the studio.


ARTLETTE reserves the right to replace or change class teachers without prior notice.


ARTLETTE only assume the responsibility of supervision of the Student while the class is in session.


ARTLETTE cannot be held liable for the loss of or damage to personal belongings at the studios.

All costs incurred as a result of any damage, injury, loss, expense or liability that may be caused to public and/or private property by the Student will be borne by his/her Parents/Guardians.


Eating, drinking, photography, video and audio recording along with disturbances are prohibited in the studio.

6.0            STUDIO CLOSURE

Classes will continue during School Vacations (March, June, September, November and December).


There are no classes on Public Holidays and School closure dates. For classes falling on Public holiday and School closure dates, program expiry will be extended.

7.0            WITHDRAWAL POLICY

Parents/Students are strongly advised to provide one month notice in writing for withdrawal of program so that seats can be allocated to Students on waiting list.


If withdrawal notice is not received, the program will be automatically renewed and invoice will be sent for renewal of program.­­­


All fees paid are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.


​8.0            REJOINING POLICY

If you wish to take a break and are able to restart within three (3) months, you need to renew the program before the break and provide us with a later start date to enjoy the waiver of material fee. However, the seat cannot be reserved for a specific time-slot.

If Student wishes to re-join within 12 months, the student will only need to pay the materials fee and program fee.

If Student wishes to re-join after 12 months, the student will be considered as a new student and registration fee is applicable in addition to the materials fee and program fee.

​9.0            WORKSHOPS & HOLIDAY PROGRAM


Seats for the workshops are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis after full payment has been received.


The workshop fee is non-refundable, cannot be rescheduled but is transferable if notice is provided three days before the workshop. 


10.0            PRIVACY POLICY


ARTLETTE will need to collect and use the Student’s personal data and information upon registration. Your personal information will be used and/or processed by ARTLETTE for these purposes:

a. Facilitation of the Services that the Parent and the Child has engaged ARTLETTE for

b. Administration, providing customer care, and facilitation of timely action in the event of an emergency

c. Communication and correspondence (by mail, e-mail, telephone, messaging, and/or other means that become available in the future) 

d. Other relevant logistical arrangements and deliveries

e. Accounting, billing and payments

f. Other relevant operational matters

ARTLETTE maintains appropriate security safeguards and practices to protect your Personal Data from unauthorised access, collection, use, disclosure, copying or similar risks.


Videos and photographs may be taken during classes, which may be used for marketing, advertising and/or publicity purposes during the course of the Student’s enrolment with ARTLETTE or thereafter.


ARTLETTE reserves the right to update the Terms and Conditions to reflect changes in our operations or comply with applicable laws and regulations. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of any significant changes to our Terms and Conditions.

This Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
