BEGINNER COURSE OUTLINE

Procreate is an award-winning illustration, sketching, and painting IOS supported application.

​

It has all the benefits of working digitally (e.g. undo, delete and correct, create art faster, and to share work instantaneously) while recreating the familiar experience of pens, pencils, and paint on paper.

In this 2-days workshop, it includes​

• Overview of functions

• Tips & shortcuts

• Create canvas, export and organising artworks

• Working with layers, canvas drawing guide on 2D grid, isometric, perspective and symmetry

• Transform functions on freeform, uniform, warp and distort

• Hands on a character from @keepkayfriends (Artlette production) on the 1st session and your choice of illustration on the 2nd session.

INTERMEDIATE COURSE OUTLINE

Create illustrations from the initial sketch to the final artwork. Explore the variety of brushes and styles to achieve special effects and amazing outcomes. You will be introduced to Animation in Procreate and learn how to create a series of animated GIFs as well as isolated movement on your illustration.

The 3-day workshop includes:

• Functions, gestures and controls

• Brushes and style exploration

• Animation basics

• Illustrating a full illustration and adding animation over illustration
